What is the Signal 30 Fund?
The New York State Troopers PBA Signal 30 Fund was created by the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, Inc. The PBA is the certified and only officially recognized bargaining representative for uniformed New York State Troopers. The purpose of the Signal 30 Fund is to support the members of the New York State Police in extraordinary circumstances such as line of duty death, illness, injury, and loss of residence to fire or floods.

Where does the money go?
The Signal 30 Fund benefits our Troopers and their families. Unlike other benefit funds, the Signal 30 Fund does not spend any money from donations on administrative costs such as salaries or marketing fees. We do not believe your donations should be used for funding programs or buying police equipment to supplement the State Police budget, therefore 100% of your donations go directly into the fund.

Is my donation tax deductible?
The New York State Troopers, PBA Signal 30 Fund is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) and your contributions are tax deductible.
